Take a glance at the deadly axe head with its downward curving blade and notice the decoratively notched areas on the cutting edge. This sight is enough to know this piece is no joking matter. On top of that, you won't be able to miss the broad, curved spike on the axe head's reverse side, which is nothing short of brutal in appearance. The axe also features a simulated wood grain finish on the haft, which is curved at the bottom. The weapon is modeled after the bearded axe of old, but deviating from the standard shape is the axe's beard that pushes against the hilt. While the axe boasts an authentic design, the good news is that it is indeed safe to use. Constructed from stiff foam, this piece is enforced with a latex coating for durability and long lasting use. In addition, it is enforced with a strong Keylar core tip protection, a Keylar cap, and a round fiberglass core that ensures flexibility.
